Accordingly, the purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain our practices for handling any personal information that you may provide to us in accordance with the DIFC Data Protection Law (DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020) and the DIFC Date Protection Regulations (DIFC Data Protection Law).

We will collect and process your personal information in the event that you complete the application and/or contact forms at The main types of personal information that we collect includes:

Purposes of data processing
12Cheques Site is the interface technology platform between the User and Alliance Insurance PSC, an insurance company registered with the Insurance Authority under the IA License no. 018 & Commercial License no. 206782, and business address at Warba Center Abu Baker Al Siddiqque road, 2nd floor, P.O. Box 5501 (Alliance).
The Site allows the User to complete an application to request the issuance by Alliance of a Rental Guarantee insurance contract. The application requires the User’s to provide personal information such as name, address, date of birth, nationality, or current salary.
Once an application has been completed and submitted through the Site, 12Cheques will process such personal information on behalf of Alliance and may share it with Alliance for the insurer to issue the Rental Guarantee insurance contract and/or to examine the eventual claims. Similarly, 12Cheques may share the User’s personal information with other third companies, such as recovery companies, in order to facilitate the implementation of the rights and obligations of the User and / or Alliance under the insurance contract.
12Cheques processes your personal information for the following purposes:
  • Analysis and optimization of the offers of our Site as well as ensuring its functionality
  • Ensuring flawless services and training of our employees
  • Processing of your requests when you contact us
  • Marketing as well as fostering relations with current or future customers
  • Compliance with the legal requirements of 12Cheques
  • Other purposes expressly stated when entering data
We may communicate with the User material such as but not limited to Site offerings, products, promotions and other similar communications that we think may be of interest. Where required by law, we will obtain an individual's consent before sending them these communications. Your personal information will only be transmitted to us if you fill out the electronic contact form in full with your personal information and then continue the process. Cookies, Web beacons or similar technologies
The Site collects information that reveals the frequency with which the Site is being visited, the times and dates of visits, and other information. Information is collected through various means. These devices may also be used on our behalf by third parties that manage our advertising on other websites; allowing us to identify which class of advertisements bring visitors to our Site.
We may employ cookie technology, web beacons, transparent GIF images, and similar devices to facilitate Site administration and navigation and to provide an enhanced online experience for our visitors. In the event that 12Cheques sells or buys any business or assets, 12Cheques reserve the right to disclose personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets (including in the event of a reorganization, dissolution, or liquidation).
If or a substantial amount of all of its assets are acquired by a third party, the personal information held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
12Cheques reserves the right to disclose personal information as needed if such information is required (i) by law, court order or requested by a government entity or (ii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity.
This Site will include send-to-a-friend applications that make it easy to forward information from our Site to others. In order to address the User's e-mail message, the application may ask you to input the recipient’s e-mail address and/or similar information. 12Cheques does not retain any of this information.
12Cheques reserves the right to change or replace this Privacy Policy at our discretion without prior notice to reflect changes in our personal information practices. Users are encouraged to review it from time to time to ensure that he/she is aware of any updates or changes in this Privacy Policy. Parental consent
If a child has provided 12Cheques with personally identifiable information, a parent or guardian of that child must contact us using the form found on the Site if they would like access to this information or have their child's details deleted from our records.
